Abstract

The Siegert states of atom in a static electric field are the solutions to the stationary Schrödinger equation satisfying specific boundary conditions. All the observable quantities of the ionized electrons such as the ionization rate and the transverse momentum distribution in the outgoing flux can be expressed by the eigenvalue and eigenfunction of Siegert state, respectively. In this paper, we focus on studying the behavior of TMD of the ionized electron of the noble gas atoms in a uniform electric field as a function of field strength.
The comparison of the numerical results with the prediction of the weak-field asymptotic theory is also discussed.
