The image of instinctive humans in Vietnamese modern prose

       The restoration of the instinctive humans' image in literature will touch our profound soul and contribute to a reflection of hidden and deep angles of human beings. However, this image of instinctive humans has been sketched in different degrees and aspects by writers in various literature periods based on human psychology and aesthetics in each period and linked to genre movements, narrative modes and artistic view-points on humans. One of the most obvious manifestations of instinctive humans is the sexual instinct. The article aims to investigate some literature works since 1930s in order to display the movements related to instinctive humans, particularly the sexual instinct in Vietnamese modern prose.
