The special Vietnam - Laos relationship in military affairs in the resistant war against French colonialism and American imperialism (1945 - 1975)

Abstract

The relationship between Vietnam and Laos has strongly and effectively developed in the resistent war against common enemy - the French colonists and American imperialists. Militants and people of two countries has been side by side to build resistent war base and to struggle. Particularly with the official diplomatic relationship establishment between two countries, a new chapter in the relationship history has been opened. The military cooperation between two countries is inevitable and has became the role model for solidarity, for the combat coalition of the military of two independent, sovereign countries, with mutual respect and loyalty.
