Advances in ensuring civil and political rights in our country today

Abstract

International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (United Nations General Assembly ratified in 1996) was signed and ratified by Vietnam in 1982, gradually implemented fully and comprehensively. Civil rights contain living right, personal inalienable right, honor and dignity respectful right; election, self - nominate and take part in state - society management rights; rights for free travel and habitation; freedom of speech and information, freedom in gatherings... noted in the Constitution and specified in many other legislative documents, practically respected and ensured, brought great results in the comprehensive development of the country through years.
