The studies of transformational leadership: Trust and organizational commitment in the Vietnamese context

Abstract
The main purpose of study was to examine how transformational leadership and trust have influence on employees’ organizational commitment in Vietnamese context. Survey data was collected from a sample of 321 employees from diverse occupation and organizations in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The results showed that statistically significant relationships were found between dimensions of transformational leadership and dimensions of organizational commitment although the relationship is not strongly. The esent study also confirmed that employee’s trust in managers has a significant and positive effect on organizational commitment. In the end, there are some discussions on the conclusions and suggestions for management practitions and directions of future research.
