THE NEIGHBORING WORD ELEMENTS IN CONVERSATION (On the evidence of short stories by Nguyen Huy Thiep)

Abstract

The instructions by language on the neighboring word elements in the quotation -  both  in  the  narration  of  the  author  and  in  the  quotation  of  the  character  has  made  the dialogue in literature in general and in short stories by Huy Thiep in particular closer to the reality.   From  the  perspective  of  language,  it  is  clear  to  see  that  in  a  certain  extent  the neighboring  word  elements  has  played  an  important  part  in  fully  expressing  the  speech’s message. Those initial researches will provide a foundation to help us to further research into many  matters  such  as:  the  role  of  the  neighboring  word  elements,  the  features  of  those elements in  ietnamese conversation
