SOME ISSUES ON ESP VOCABULARY GROUPS FROM CORPUS LINGUISTIC PERSPECTIVE

Abstract
From the fact of ESP teaching in the country, the report shows the significance of lexical quantification in teaching ESP as well as distinguishing ESP vocabulary into groups. On analyzing some concepts on General English, Academic English và sub/semi-technical vocabulary achieved from corpus research, the writer explicitly distinguishes the boundaries between the groups, defines the essential lexis aiming to a more effective teaching and learning ESP vocabulary at colleges and universities in Vietnamese.
