Enhancing english impromptu speaking skills for EFL learners

Abstract

   The paper is delivered to underscore the role of the speaking skill in language study and to reveal some limitations of the current teaching and learning of this skill, specifically at University of Foreign Language Studies, the University of Da Nang. Constructive suggestions are also put forward for the teachers on how to promote the students' oral performance, particularly their impromptu speaking ability, which will be of great benefit to their future careers.
