An analysis of students' grammatical errors based on the differences between English and Vietnamese grammatical characteristics
Abstract
The research was conducted to identity and analyse conunon graniinatical eitors made by first-year non-majored Vietnamese students in ttieir writing. The analysis based on the differences between Vietnamese and English grammatical features not only provided closer insight into the typical lands of grammatical errors and threw light into the reasons for such errors as to both bilingual and intralingual errors.
