MULTI-CRITERIA MATHEMATICAL MODEL FOR A NEW TYPE OF FRAME SAW MACHINE DESIGN

Abstract

This paper presents an approach to develop a multi-criteria mathematical model for a new type of frame saw machine design. The model was built based on the concept of product lifecycle management. It allows for comprehensive analysis of geometry, dynamics and technology of saw machine in relation to constraints and criteria or objective functions. Besides, the authors have developed explicit expressions, which help to determine functional constraints and values of objective functions rapidly and precisely. With the proposed model in this paper, a multi-criteria design of the saw machine can be carried out in order to find out the most rational design parameters at different manufacturing scenarios.
