THE IMPACT OF BUSINESS EFFICIENCY ON THE LEVEL OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT INFORMATION DISCLOSURE OF COMPANIES LISTED ON THE VIETNAMESE STOCK EXCHANGE

Abstract

This study reseaches the impact of business efficiency on the level of sustainable development information disclosure of companies listed on the Vietnamese stock exchange. The reseach uses path structure model and analysis it via STATA 13 software, research data is 294 enterprises listed on the Vietnamese stock market in 3 years 2015-2017. Research results illustrate that the affect of bussiness efficiency according to ROA to the level of disclore of information on sustainable development is positively. In addition, there are factors such as enterprise’s size, control variables (Big4, number of the board of management members) also positively affect the level of disclosure of information on sustainable development and opposite affect variables are financial leverage and control variable (business lines). From the studied results suggest some recommendations to improve the level disclosure of informatin on sustainable development in Vietnam.
