INFLUENCE OF Fe (II), Cu (II) ION IMPURITIES OF THE ZINC COATING

Abstract

This article examines the effect of Fe2+, Cu2+ impurity content in galvanized
tanks on the color and gloss of zinc coating. With the contents of Fe2+ ≥ 3g/l, Cu2
+≥ 0.2g/l in the galvanized bath makes the dark galvanized layers, black
appearance on the surface would affect the aesthetics and corrosion resistance of
the coating
