RECYCLING OF ELECTRONIC WASTE IN VIETNAM AND SOME RECOMMENDATIONS

Abstract

Along with the explosion of science and technology, electronics is a leading
spearhead industry in Vietnam. However, with the great challenge of waste
disposal and urgent need to build, improve and develop the recycling of
electronic waste. Analyzing this sector in Vietnam, the authors point out the
remaining constraints, causes, and challenges and opportunities that the
recycling of electronic waste in Vietnam faces in the global context. Combined
with the lessons learned from previous countries, the authors propos some
recommendations to develop this young Vietnamese environmental activities.
