IMPROVING THE LOYALTY OF EMPLOYEES AT FOREIGN-INVESTED ENTERPRISES IN HANOI CITY

Abstract

The paper presents the study of factors affecting the loyalty of employees in
foreign-invested enterprises (FDI) in Hanoi City, in order to find solutions to
improve loyalty of employees who work for these enterprises. Through survey
methods, research data was collected from 235 workers at 22 FDI enterprises.
Survey data was analyzed via SPSS software. The research results have shown
two factors: Training and development, relationships with colleagues that affect
the loyalty of employees at FDI enterprises. On the basis of research results, the
authors propose a number of recommendations to improve employee loyalty in
FDI enterprises in particular, and improve employee loyalty in general
enterprises. Although the research results have achieved the goal, the level of
explanation of the change in loyalty of employees is still limited (45.2%). This is
also the next research direction of the authors in the future.
