FACTOR AFFECT ROLE OBLIGATION OF EMPLOYEES TO THE ORGANIZATION
Abstract
The objective of the study is to identify factors that affect felt role obligation (ROE) and influence it to in-role performance (INP). The data was collected through empirical survey of 293 employees in different types of organizations in the South Central provinces. Applying structural equation modelling (SEM), the study identified three factors that affect felt role obligation (ROE): role ambiguity ( ROA); role conflict (ROC); perceived organizational support (POS). At the same time, felt role obligation (ROE) factor is positively correlated with in-role performance (INP). From there, a number of policy implications are proposed to improve the Sense of duty based on the role of workers.
