In this paper, we give some general comments on the syntax of sign language in Vietnam. An important features of the syntax structure of sign language of Deaf people in Vietnam is Subject - Predicate structure realised by the S - O - V order. However, in sign languages, sometim es a sign can express  the meaning of  a phrase  or  a sentence in  spoken language. The syntax of sign language is simplified and focus on the important factors, so the sentences of sign languages are often simpler, shorter than the ones of  Vietnamese.
