Vietnam's sustainable development policy: findings and recommendations

The project "Support to the Formulation and Implementation of Vietnam National Agenda 21 VIE/01/021" is executed by the Ministry of Planning and Investment with the financial support of UNDP, DANIDA and SIDA, and in collaboration with concerned sectors and localities. The project has four main components, one of which focuses on policy research and establishment of database of sustainable development (SD) in Vietnam. The research findings are an important input in the formulation of a sustainable development policy in Vietnam for the national mordernisation and industrialisation. As part of the project VIE/01/021, a set of books has been published to disclose the research findings and serve as the reference for the design of sustainable development plan and policy. The books number at ten, covering ten topics, including "Vietnam’s sustainable development policy: findings and recommendations". This book is a comprehensive monograph consolidated from a big number of review and research reports written by Prof., PhD Ngo Ngoc Cat as the chief author and a group of researchers from different ministries and government agencies.
