The authors of this book took the dialectical and historical materialist approach to culture to explain the changes in cultural values in the context of creating a market economy in Vietnam today, concentrating on: political value, legal value, ethical value, cosmetical value, religious and belief value. The author affirmed that one of the essential solutions at present is to build an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identities, making both culture and economy developed in a sustainable manner, the changes in cultural values for the good, fine and betterment.
