Abstract

Quang Ninh province - the leading tourism center in the country is currently strongly developing the system of hotels and resorts, especially high-end accommodation facilities. This development creates great pressure on hotel management human resources, requiring a team of skilled professionals, solid expertise, proficient in foreign languages and professional demeanor. Surveys at colleges and universities in the area show that many graduates still lack practical skills and their ability to communicate in foreign languages and handle situations is limited. Existing shortterm training courses do not closely follow national vocational standards and innovation trends. This study analyzes training needs and assesses the current status of professional training programs. From there, the author proposes a framework for short-term professional training programs for the Hotel Management industry, applied at vocational training institutions in Quang Ninh with the goal of: shortening the gap between training and practice, providing human resources to meet business requirements, contributing to improving service quality and competitiveness of Quang Ninh tourism.
