Determinants of Profitability of Vietnamese Construction Enterprises: A Bayesian Approach

Abstract

This study investigates factors affecting the profitability of Vietnamese construction industry enterprises, using secondary data from audited annual financial reports of 82 companies listed on the Stock Exchange. Vietnam stock exchange from 2014 to 2021. Using Bayesian logistic regression, the study shows the relationship between financial leverage, enterprise size, tangible fixed assets, liquidity, growth rate, corporate income tax, age of the business and profitability. This research not only provides insights into the industry but also helps businesses make smarter business decisions and strategies.
