Abstract
Mang and La Hu, two ethnic minorities having a small number of inhabitants in Vietnam, met many difficulties in their social-economic development. Because they are typical highland residents and have nomadic lifestyle. All their economic activities have been related to the forest – their living environment. They have supported by many policies from the Vietnamese Government. However, the social-economic development of the minorities Mang and La Hu still has low rank among many different minorities. It was caused by The not-fitted specific contents of these policies with the cultural characteristics and living environmental features of the minorities Mang and La Hu.
