Influence of several preliminary characteristics of roller compacted concrete (RCC) for construction progress of concrete gravity dam in Vietnam

Abstract

    The physical and mechanical properties of RCC dam changes and develops over time and it has strong affect to working ability of the RCC block after hardening. To determine a reasonable construction schedule of RCC dam and to meet the technical requirements and increase efficiency in the construction process, it is necessary to study the process of preliminary physical and mechanical properties of RCC and determine the influence to construction progress.
