Selection of numerical models for sedimentation of Reservoirs in Vietnam

Abstract

    Estimation of reservoir sedimentation needs the calculation rules. However, the rules do not exist in Vietnam. Therefore, selecting a suitable model for Vietnam conditions is necessary. The study focus on selecting and applying 1-D model, HEC6 to estimate the sedimentation in reservoirs in Vietnam, example for Cua Dat reservoir, Thanh Hoa province.
