Abstract

Dak Nong Global Geopark embraces authentic natural and cultural heritage values with its own characteristics, especially the geological heritage of volcanic cave systems of unique values, which becomes an important foundation for Dak Nong province to exploit and develop socio - economic activities through the development of tourism. This research concentrated on analyzing the heritage values and the current status of tourism development associated with Dak Nong Global Geopark from publications of scientists and management agencies. Accordingly, in order to effectively exploit Dak Nong Global Geopark for tourism development, it is necessary to deploy comprehensive solutions with priority for heritage zoning as a scientific basis for implementing synchronize preservation and promotion solutions.
