Abstract

Phu Yen is a land rich in history and culture, having an important position throughout the history of the nation. Because of its interwoven characteristics with the cultural mixture, together with its long history, Phu Yen still preserves many valuable tangible and intangible cultural heritages, which are a great resource for tourism development. The content of the article is mainly expressed through the following aspects: (1) Xu Nuu - a typical language area; (2) The region is rich and diverse in culture; (3) The land of multi-ethnic people. The study of cultural characteristics in this area contributed to adding scientific value in the process of establishing the UNESCO Global Geopark in Phu Yen province.
