Abstract

Binh Thuan province has a lot of potential for developing adventure tourism thanks to its

diverse terrain, semi-arid climate typical of the South Central region, and is less affected by storms

and extreme weather. Binh Thuan province has developed a number of types of adventure tourism

such as hiking through forests, mountain climbing, rafting, racing cars and motorbikes over sand

dunes, boat racing, scuba diving, and windsurfing. However, the development of adventure tourism

in Binh Thuan province still has many limitations such as lack of human resources, poor products,

and inadequate physical and technical infrastructure for adventure tourism. Based on researches on

the current situation and potential for developing adventure tourism in the coastal area of Binh Thuan

province, the article suggests and recommends appropriate investments for the development of this

type of tourism.
