Debits trading market in Vietnam- the current situation and solutions

Abstract

The formation and development of debts trading market, in particular bad debts of enterprises, is
an objective requirement in Vietnam. The lack of a debt trading market is considered as the main bottleneck
in dealing with bad debts today. According to Economic Committee of the National Assembly, bad debts in
the banking system in 2017 is less than 3% but bad debts is still high in the economy. However, the operation
of debts trading market is still limited, it’s necessary to have solutions to achieve higher efficiency. Within the
scope of this article, the author focuses on the current situation and gives some solutions to promote the debts
trading market in Vietnam
