Using DEMATEL method to constructing a strategy map for banking institutions

Abstract
Abstract: Strategy management is one of the most important tasks of commercial banks. While many studies
focus on the stages of strategy development and implementation, methods for strategy adjustment have not
been mentioned much. This article presents the DEMATEL method used to evaluate and analyze the relationship
between key performance indicators (KPI) in strategy management based on the Balanced Scorecard (BSC)
method. According to this approach, the Strategy Management Information System (SMIS) will visualize the
strategy map, which is the basis for bank leaders to evaluate and adjust the strategy.
