Abstract
This study investigates undergraduate students’ academic dishonesty at a university. This is an anonymous study of 957 responses from eight faculties at a Vietnamse university, conducted in 2021. The results show that up to 94.5% of students have ever violated at least 1 of the 21 listed behaviors. Between
23% and 37% of students did not consider these behaviors as academic dishonesty. Following behaviours happened more than once: working with others on an individual assignment; helping someone else cheat on a test; and copying from another student during a test with his or her knowledge. Research also shows that male students had more academic dishonesty than female students. Finally, discussion and managerial implications are presented.
