Venture Capital Fund Development- Experiences from China and lessons for Vietnam

Abstract

In any nations, venture capital plays an important role in the development process, enabling firms with risk and new ideas to access capital and management experiences from individual and organizational investors at home and abroad. Vietnam is in the process of moving towards the 4.0 Industrial Revolution, which is necessary to mobilize capital through venture capital funds. Therefore, it is essential to learn from the experiences of successful countries with similar economic, political and social conditions. By learning from Chinese counterparts, we will have a better overview of the formation and development of venture capital fund in this country, as well as have the lessons for Vietnam.
