Abstract

The paper uses VECM model to test the relationship between banking sector development and
economic growth in Vietnam on data of the World Development Indicators (WDI) from the World Bank for
the period 1997- 2017. This results show that in the long term, there is a relationship between banking sector
development and economic growth at Vietnam in this period.
