Identifying the optimal discharge of exploitation gallery in Con Dao island by modelling

Abstract

The exploitation wells are usually designed having the same structure and capacity in order to simply calculation and design of groundwater exploitation galleries. The design and calculation are only suitable for infinitive and highly productive aquifers but will not be suitable, waste and not optimal in case of the aquifer distributes in narrow area, low productive and heterogeneous. The article presents the results of identifying the optimal discharge of exploitation gallery in Con Dao island by  using an available groundwater flow model.
