System of collection and transport of industrial solid waste & hazardous waste to the different industrial zones and sepzones of Hochiminh city

Abstract

Viet Nam industrial sectors grew steadilly through the recent years. But Ho Chi Minh City as a highest developing industrial center of the Country has been facing more and more alarming environmental problems. In the field of insdustrial solid waste and industrial hazardous waste management, there is still a lack of an authentic and consistent system of collection and transport of industrial solid waste and hazardous waste. In view of this, the project aims at introducing a System of Collection and Transport of Industrial Solid Waste & Hazardous Waste to the different Industrial Zones and Sepzones of Hochiminh City. The system consists of all the nessessary components such as the transfer stations, transport route, transport means, appropriate goals, and the application of GIS for managing the whole system.
