Evaluation on some economic aspects of industrial hazardous waste treatment activities in Hochiminh city

Abstract

On the basis of on-going business activities, this paper recommends a typical model for a service business of industrial hazardous waste treatment, then conducts a cost accounting for hazardous waste treatment for that business in order to evaluate the treatment costs for some typical industrial hazardous wastes in the city. The research results help to evaluate the state-of-the-art of the hazardous waste treatment activities in the city and then give rise to further development of this service in order to fulfill the ever-growing requirement of the hazardous waste management from the city’s government.
