Market orientation – a study in mechanical industry in Ho Chi Minh city

Abstract

This study not only aims at measuring the application of Market Orientation in mechanical companies in HCMC but also evaluate its impact on company performance. The statistic results based on a sample of 149 companies show that: HCMC mechanical companies are above-average in all five components of Market Orientation. The regression results show that there is significantly positive impact of Market Orientation on the company’s business performance.
