CHARACTERISTICS AND REQUIREMENTS FOR LOGISTICS AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT OF THE MECHANIZED INFANTRY REGIMENT IN COUNTERING AIRBORNE ASSAULTS

Abstract

Logistics and technical support are among the critical factors contributing to the comprehensive strength enabling the mechanized infantry regiment to accomplish its mission of countering airborne assaults. Given the complex nature and elevated demands of this tactical form under the evolving conditions of national defense, operations pose significant challenges, especially for units characterized by high mobility and substantial firepower, such as mechanized infantry regiments. This article aims to examine the essential characteristics and core requirements of logistics and technical support in the context of mechanized infantry operations against airborne incursions. The research findings provide a scientific foundation for planning and organizing logistics and technical support, as well as for the effective structuring, deployment, and utilization of support elements to ensure mission success in counter-airborne offensive operations.
