Contributing to the clarification of the policy to promote the private sector as the most important driving force of the economy in the draft documents of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of VietNam

Abstract

In accordance with Politburo Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW dated 4 May 2025 on private sector development, the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress reaffirm the significant contributions of Viet Nam’s private sector within the socialist-oriented market economy and emphasise its role as the most important driving force of economic growth. This article analyses the practical foundations underpinning this policy orientation and proposes a set of solutions aimed at further promoting private sector development in the forthcoming period.
