Green transition: Theoretical foundations and policy recommendations for Vietnam

Abstract

Green transformation has become an inevitable trend towards sustainable development globally in the context that the world is currently facing environmental crises including climate change, land degradation, biodiversity loss, and pollution. Viet Nam has also been gradually implementing a green transformation; although initial efforts have been made, many challenges remain including limitations in awareness. This article aims to provide some theoretical foundations of green transformation, synthesise the efforts and challenges, and then analyse some solutions for green transformation in the future.
