Enhancing the innovation and digital transformation capacities of lecturers at Political Schools to meet the requirements of cadre training and development in the new context

Abstract

The quality of education and training depends directly on the capabilities of teaching 
staff, particularly their capacity for innovation and their ability to apply digital technologies in teaching, 
scientific research, and the synthesis of practical experience. Based on identified criteria for assessing 
innovation capacity and digital transformation capability, this article provides a comprehensive analysis 
of these competency domains among lecturers at political schools in Vietnam. It clarifies the new 
requirements placed on lecturers in the current context and proposes a number of solutions to strengthen 
their innovation and digital transformation capabilities in the coming period.
