Abstract

Health insurance is one of the pillars and important social security for the people, especially the poor workers and the disadvantaged in society. In the context of the current complicated development of the COVID-19 pandemic, health insurance policy is even more practical for people and it is needed to promote coverage of this type of insurance. This article provides an overview and assesses development status of health insurance policies; and impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the implementation of health insurance policies, thereby proposing a number of solutions and recommendations to develop sustainable health insurance policies.
