Abstract

Although, achieving certain results in terms of sustainable development, Vietnam is still facing the situation of increasing waste discharge, increasingly depleted raw and fossil materials. In order to limit and overcome the shortcomings of the traditional growth model, the development of a circular economy is an indispensable requirement for Vietnam. This article outlines the general mechanisms and policies on the circular economy and proposes solutions to improve the effectiveness of the circular economy development policy in Vietnam.
