Abstract

The Law on Prices No. 11/2012/QH13 was passed by the National Assembly at the 3rd session of the 13th National Assembly, taking effect on January 1st, 2013, and replacing the Ordinance on Prices in 2002. It makes significant contribution to improving the financial legal system; consolidating and creating an adequate legal framework to ensure the consistent implementation of price administration, price competition encouragement, self-pricing right of businesses and individuals, objective economic laws regarding the formation and movement of market prices; and at the same time, ensuring the State’s regulation of prices mainly by indirect macro-measures in accordance with international commitments
