Abstract

The application of information technology to the business activities of enterprises and to the overall economy is an inevitable trend under the impact of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. In this trend in Vietnam, the  Government is proactively applying policies to promote national digital transformation with orientation to 2030. This study summarizes documents and realistic data in an attempt to clarify the concept of digital  transformation and its role in economy and economic entities in particular.
