Abstract

Currently, in the field of customs, many countries around the world have been researching and applying digital technology, including incorporating Internet of Things (IoT) technology into customs management. This is considered one of the crucial solutions to achieve the goal of building a digital customs system in the near future. At present, Vietnam Customs is focusing on digital transformation, IT application, aiming to complete the digital customs system by 2025 and develop smart customs by 2030. Therefore, researching and learning from the experiences of other countries in implementing IoT technology in customs is highly necessary for Vietnam Customs to accomplish these goals.
