DETERMINATION OF BROMAZEPAM IN BLOOD USING LC/Q-TOF FOR CLINICAL SUPPORT AND FORENSIC TOXICOLOGY PURPOSES

Abstract
In this study, a reliable analytical method was developed and validated for the determination of bromazepam in human blood samples using liquid chromatography coupled with quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (LC–Q/TOF) following solid-phase extraction (SPE). The method exhibited excellent linearity, accuracy, and precision across the tested concentration ranges. The limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantification (LOQ) were found to be 0.145 µg/L and 0.483 µg/L, respectively. The recovery rates ranged from 89% to 97%, with relative standard deviations (RSDs) of less than 11% for all tested concentrations. These findings demonstrated that the developed LC–Q/TOF method was highly sensitive, accurate, and reproducible, and it could be effectively applied for the routine detection of bromazepam in forensic and clinical toxicology laboratories.
