Tóm tắt

This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of supplementing black soldier fly (Hermetia illucens) larvae in the diet on growth performance, survival rate, and feed conversion ratio (FCR) of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) fingerlings. The results showed that after 60 days of rearing, fish in treatment NT2 (25% black soldier fly larvae supplementation) achieved the highest final body weight (80.8 ± 11.26 g/fish), which was higher than that of the control treatment NT1 (100% commercial feed; 70.0 ± 4.80 g/fish) and treatment NT4 (100% black soldier fly larvae; 53.7 ± 5.71 g/fish). The specific growth rate (SGR) was also highest in NT2, reaching 7.45 ± 1.48 %/day. The lowest feed conversion ratio was recorded in NT2 and NT3 (FCR = 2.39 – 2.42), whereas higher FCR values were observed in NT1 and NT4 (2.51 – 2.69). The survival rate of fish throughout the experiment ranged from 65.0 to 74.2%. These results indicated that the appropriate supplementation of black soldier fly larvae could improve the growth performance and feed utilization efficiency of Nile tilapia fingerlings without negatively affecting survival rate.
