Digital transformation in libraries based on open source code - a direction in the process of digital transformation in libraries at the Learning Resource Center of Quang Binh University

Abstract

   Digital transformation for education is one of the eight top priorities that the Government pays attention to and directs its implementation. The school library system is one of the pioneering subjects that need to implement digital transformation in the education sector, because the library is the place that provides and ensures information resources for the school to operate.

   Digital transformation is the process of applying modern digital technologies to an organization or an activity based on digital technology, thereby affecting comprehensive changes in working methods and tools. affects the cognitive process and results of that organization. Digital transformation in libraries will completely change all activities and improve library performance based on digital technologies.

Quang Binh University Learning Resource Center is a place that provides all information resources for educational activities of the school and locality. In this article, the author mentions the current situation of digital transformation at the center and proposes digital transformation directions for the library in the future.
