Planning and developing static transportation infrastructure towards the use of clean energy vehicles

Abstract
Given the reality of Vietnam's transition to electrified transportation and its orientation towards green and sustainable urban development, the number of motorized vehicles and clean energy vehicles in major cities is increasing rapidly. However, this growth rate significantly exceeds the adaptive capacity of the technical infrastructure system and urban management, creating an urgent need for synchronization between transportation development and urban spatial organization. In this context, factors such as urban planning, design, technical standards, operational management, and fire prevention play a particularly important role in building safe, modern, sustainable cities that adapt to the rapid changes in technology and social needs. The transition to green energy is one of the key and urgent tasks to achieve the goal of green growth, while also concretizing Vietnam's commitments at COP26. This is not only an essential requirement in responding to climate change but also opens up opportunities for the transportation sector to develop synchronously in a modern and sustainable direction, gradually approaching the advanced development level and trends of the world.
