SOCIALISM IN VIETNAM: PAST AND PRESENT

The development of modern Vietnam in the 20th Century has been in a very close relationship with socialism. In this paper, I would like to share my reflections on certain aspects of the perception of socialism and the process of building socialism in Vietnam. The paper is divided into three parts. In the first part, I focus on President Ho Chi Minh's decision to adopt socialism. In the second part, I talk briefly about the process of building socialism in our country from 1945 to 1986. And in the final part, I will discuss the model of socialism in Vietnam since the beginning of the Cause of Renovation in 1986.
