Research on synthesis and characterization of Ni-doped MIL-53(Fe) metal-organic frameworks
Abstract
In this study, MIL-53(Fe) and Nd-doped MIL-53(Fe) materials were successfully by solvothermal at different reaction temperatures. The as-sythesized samples were characterized by XRD, FTIR, SEM, and Raman. From XRD, FTIR, and Raman results, doping of the Ni ion in the crystal lattice did not change the high crystallinity of the MIL-53(Fe) structure, and all the Nd ions were incorporated into the structures of MIL-53(Fe) as well as replaced Fe ion or located at the interstitial site. In addiction, both doped and undoped sample exhibited uniform morphology at 150 oC; octahedron morphologies were obtaianed for the bare sample and hexagonal morphologies were obatain for the doped sampel. Nd-doped MIL-53(Fe) with unique Nd fluorescence properties, thus enabling it to be a promising functional probe for fluorescent imaging.
